ShareX setup (Windows)

  1. Install ShareX if you have not already.
  2. Sign in here and open Settings → Integrations (or the Apps page).
  3. Download the Files & images config. Optionally also the URL shortener and Text configs.
  4. Double-click each downloaded .sxcu file. ShareX asks whether to make it the active uploader — click Yes.
  5. Take a screenshot. The link is copied to your clipboard when the upload finishes.

Each config contains an API key named ShareX. You can revoke it any time from Settings → API keys.

Troubleshooting

  • Error: 401 — the key was revoked; download a fresh config.
  • Error: 413 — the file is bigger than your plan allows.
  • Nothing happens — in ShareX, open Destinations → Destination settings → Custom uploaders and make sure the Clipo uploader is selected for Image, File, Text and URL shortener.
