Uploading files
From the dashboard
Drag files anywhere onto the Files or Upload page, click Upload and pick files, or simply press Ctrl/⌘+V with an image on your clipboard.
Large files
Files above the server's request limit are uploaded in resumable chunks automatically. If your connection drops, the upload resumes from the last completed chunk. The maximum file size depends on your plan.
Options
- Folder — organize uploads; folders can also be shared as a public gallery
- Encrypt — encrypt the file at rest (see Encryption)
- Password — viewers must enter it before the file opens or downloads
- Expiry — delete the file automatically after an hour, a day, a week, or a month
You can change the name, folder, password and expiry of any file later from its detail panel.
Image optimization
On the free plan, large images are resized to a maximum of 2560 px on the long edge and re-encoded to save space. Animated GIFs and SVGs are never changed. Paid plans keep the original, lossless file.
Blocked file types
For safety, executables and scripts (exe, msi, bat, cmd, com, scr, ps1, vbs, js, jar, sh, php, phar, dll, apk) cannot be uploaded. Zip them first if you need to share them.
